My comprehensive training and experience enables me to adapt reflexology treatments to support those that are living with cancer, chronically ill or in need of palliative care.

There are many units across the UK where reflexology is offered alongside allopathic medicine as an adjunct to treatment. At such centres, reflexology and other complementary therapies can be used as an integrated treatment; intended to help with some side effects of medication or illness, the patient's ability to cope and quality of life itself.

Sufferers of such illness or their carers or loved ones may choose to have a reflexology treatment as it works on both a physical and emotional level for many people.  It may therefore help both with physical and emotional elements of care, hopefully helping to balance the body and help it deal more efficiently with the challenges that it faces.

Anecdotally, some people believe reflexology can have a positive effect on symptoms such as: relieving anxiety, stress and depression, boosting energy levels and immune system, reducing the side-effects of some of the medical treatments, improving sleep patterns and/or reducing pain and discomfort.
